BreathKey is designed, manufactured and sold by OmegaPoint Systems, a privately-held company located in Cincinnati, Ohio.  OmegaPoint Systems founder and owner, Ed Gollar, began the company in 2000 with the intent of offering a personal breath alcohol testing device that was small, affordable and reliable.  Ed had been designing breath alcohol test equipment for 10 years prior to starting OmegaPoint Systems.  His breath alcohol ignition interlock devices have been in use by court systems throughout the U.S.

Created as a deterrent to drinking and driving, BreathKey is the smallest breathalyzer in the world and the only digital keychain breathalyzer approved by the FDA.  It’s also the only consumer breathalyzer to utilize the same fuel-cell alcohol sensor technology employed by law enforcement.
